The Old Age Pension Scheme is implemented by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Purvanchal, under the State Social Assistance Programme.
Residents of Purvanchal aged 60 years and above. One application per eligible citizen. Applications are processed within 15 days as per the Purvanchal Right to Public Services Act; applications not processed within the statutory period stand approved (deemed approval).
Rs. 250 per month, credited by DBT to the applicant's bank account.
A mobile number (for OTP), bank account and IFSC, and one age proof document (birth certificate, school leaving certificate or Voter ID; JPG, PNG or PDF up to 5 MB).
One active application per applicant. A pending application can be withdrawn from the status portal and a fresh one submitted.
